CLTD - INSTRUCTOR LED PREPARATION COURSE - 12 weeks

The APICS Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) program is the first and only supply chain certification that encompasses the end-to-end global supply chain. APICS CLTD designees gain the skills to effectively manage global supply chain activities that involve suppliers, plants, distributors, and customers located around the world.

This Course

• equips you with the knowledge and skills demanded of supply chain leaders in all sectors of the worldwide economy, including service, manufacturing, and government.
• uses the APICS CLTD Learning System, a blended learning program featuring printed workbooks and web-based support tools designed to cover the entire APICS CLTD Exam Content Manual.

This class is the preparatory class for the CLTD exam. To obtain your CLTD certification you must pass the CLTD certification exam. Certification exams can be purchased via ASCM Western Canada. This class will also quality for the ASCM Western Canada Free Exam Retake offer (must purchase the Exam Credit from and be an ASCM Certification Upgrade and Western Canada Chapter Member).

• Starting 19 September 2026 for 12 weeks, Saturdays (ends 5 December)
• 9am to12 pm Pacific time zone. 3 HOURS PER WEEK
• Will be via zoom meeting link  - Instructor will send out meeting info.
• First session will be orientation only.

Your Instructor(s) for the program 

Leigh Boccius, CSCP-F, CPIM-F, CLTD-F and CTSC Recognized Instructor  is the Director of Supply Chain for StructureCraft a global leader in the mass timber world for structural engineering services, construction and DLT manufacturing. Prior to that he was the Director of Supply Chain, North America for SureWerx; a virtual manufacturer and global distributor for a variety of leading safety equipment & apparel, PPE, and tool brands. During his career in the supply chain, he has worked on multiple acquisitions and software integrations; and especially enjoys business process improvement.

Leigh holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Mathematics with Mathematical Physics from Imperial College London in the UK and the CSCP-F, CPIM-F, CLTD-F and CTSC designations with ASCM.

Pathway to Certification  

Your APICS Certification preparation begins with the APICS CLTD learning system. The certification exam must be passed to earn the CLTD designation. To maintain your CLTD designation you must submit a certification maintenance application every five years. 

The Learning System 

The APICS Learning System is a comprehensive program with access to print and digital material, interactive learning activities, quizzes, flashcards, and downloadable content so you can study anywhere. The curriculum is drawn from the APICS Exam Content Manual (ECM) and organizes information from industry-leading references.
